I have nothing to go on here. Borrowed a few things from a friend in the interest of ripping and this was one of them. This is Mark Critchley's project, so there's a NOMEANSNO connection. Originally a band from the early-mid 90s in Victoria, this is their "10 year anniversary special" single/EP. Three tracks, all centered around the first gulf war, and oddly suitable for what was to occur in just over a year's time.

With a NMN connection there of course has to be some humour buried in the mix and while the lyrics are pretty clear on their points, you get some goodies like: "Father Catholic, little porno angels" in Seen Not Heard and "Reap what you sow, GI Joe / Join the shame, GI Jane" in No Life. Sound-wise we start off with nearly 6 minutes of news samples from the war, Seen Not Heard is just Mark being a balladeer with a piano, and No Life is what's to be expected when you've got a NOMEANSNO member in a band: fast-proggy-jazz-punk.

Not-entirely-trivia: No Life was recorded live in Zurich, 1996. The CD is shaped like an atom bomb and was released in a 7" cover.
